Job description
We are seeking an extremely organized, outgoing and energetic administrative sales associate for our growing fine jewelry store. Candidates should preferably have a minimum of one year sales experience, jewelry knowledge a plus, must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office, have data entry skills, understanding of the “customer”, attention to detail, show professionalism and have the ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Greeting each customer with the utmost kindness and patience
* Receive and filter phone calls in a professional matter
* Selling fine jewelry, watches to potential customers
* Handling all incoming and outgoing repairs; keeping track of completed jobs with vendors and contacting customers with job estimates and pick ups
* Typing all appraisals along with other light paperwork
* Inputting customer information for marketing purposes
* Perform business opening and closing the store
* Participate in the inventory process
* Complete case counts
Job Requirements
High School Diploma plus 6 months sales experience; or a combination of relevant education and experience
Minimum 18 years of age
Ability to pass a drug test
Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis
Ability to work overtime on an occasional basis
Maintain confidentiality
Accuracy/attention to detail
Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
Willing to learn and potential to grow with company
This is a salary based position and salary compensation is based upon experience
